ASRC Federal Names Leif Henecke Chief Information Officer
Greenbelt, Md., May 17, 2012 – ASRC Federal Holding Company has named Leif Henecke chief information officer. Henecke is responsible for aligning ASRC Federal’s IT vision with enterprise business strategy to produce IT solutions that deliver value to ASRC Federal customers and employees.
“Leif Henecke is a performance-driven executive with experience in the areas of IT strategy, operations and optimization, and he will guide ASRC Federal technology innovation to enhance service to our customers and partners,” said Ken Asbury, ASRC Federal president and CEO. “Leif’s solid technical skills and track record of producing value-driven technology solutions are welcomed assets to the ASRC Federal family of companies.”
Before joining ASRC Federal, Henecke served as deputy CIO of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, where he led IT services that consistently exceeded enterprise-wide, operational service level agreements for mission-critical systems. He previously served as director of business systems operations for Northrop Grumman’s IT sector, where he operated and maintained sector business systems supporting a $6 billion technology consulting and services business unit with over 22,000 employees.
Henecke earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Norwich University and a Master of Business Administration from Averett University. Henecke served 24 years as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard, retiring at the rank of lieutenant colonel.
