ASRC Federal has achieved ISO 20000-1 certification, demonstrating the company’s ability to manage the end-to-end delivery of IT services across the enterprise and for its customers. This achievement complements ASRC Federal’s list of other enterprise-level certifications that include ISO 9001, ISO 27001, AS9100, CMMI DEV ML3 and CMMI SVC ML3.
Published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO 20000-1 is the international standard for IT Service Management that defines requirements for the development, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of an IT service management system (ITSMS). Through a comprehensive approach, this certification is designed to help organizations deliver effective and efficient managed IT services to customers and maintain these best practices over time, while demonstrating the quality, efficacy and scalability of the processes.
“The ISO 20000-1 certification achievement is a critical component of ASRC Federal’s success,” said Liz Malone, ASRC Federal Chief Administrative Officer. “The certification integrates the intersections of quality, program and IT service management while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.”
