Each year, ASRC Federal brings together our program managers (PMs) from across the country with key goals in mind – to learn, lead, collaborate and grow. The annual PM Summit is rooted in the company’s culture of teamwork, integrity, accountability and continuous improvement – values that are heavily reflected throughout the program.
This year’s PM Summit kicked off during a special Fusion Day, in which operations, technology and business leaders gathered to explore new ideas, collaborate and share knowledge, and learn more about the company’s technical capabilities. The conference also highlighted the important role program managers play in the company’s growth, in building strong relationships with customers and in the ability to deliver for them.
The program featured a leadership presentation by Sam Silverstein, a best-selling author and keynote speaker, on creating an accountable workforce, developing committed employees and retaining great people. PMs learned valuable takeaways that they can implement when engaging with customers and leading their teams, including a special discussion on accountability and leadership led by ASRC Federal President & CEO Jennifer Felix and Silverstein.
Common themes included delivering excellence to customers, leading change, learning from successes as well as failures and leadership tips for developing their teams. During the summit, attendees also heard from shared services team leads about upcoming initiatives and new programs – and had a chance to connect with ASRC Federal’s technology partners (Google, Microsoft, Darktrace, DocuSign and Salesforce) during the Tech Expo and reception.

PMs are key to our strategic execution, and they strive to demonstrate operational excellence on their contracts day in and day out,” said John McNeirney, ASRC Federal vice president of program execution. “This event focused on expanding their knowledge, level setting expectations and sharing tools to help them continue to build high-performing teams dedicated to achieving successful mission outcomes for our customers.”
