The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Land and Maritime Directorates of Supplier Operations and ASRC Federal have forged a partnership aimed at strengthening supply chain support to our nation’s warfighters. The goal of the alliance is to implement joint strategies and process enhancements designed to improve responsiveness to the warfighter, including customer deliverables and administrative timeliness.
The partnership agreement was signed by Chris Frye, ASRC Federal Supply Chain Management & Logistics senior vice president, alongside government partners Captain Dale Haney, Maritime Supplier Operations Director and Colonel Sue Styer, Land Supplier Operations Director in conjunction with the Defense Logistics Agency Supply Chain Conference in Columbus, OH, on April 24. The signing ceremony was attended by ASRC Federal President and CEO Jennifer Felix, LTG, U.S. Army, Mark T. Simerly, Director, Defense Logistics Agency, and U.S. Army Brigadier General Gail Atkins, Commander, Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, as well as by DLA Leadership from Land and Maritime, Aviation.
The charter states that DLA and ASRC Federal will collaborate closely to “actively pursue supply chain management solutions and ultimately provide the best product and service possible to the warfighter.”
“We look forward to collaborating with DLA to create efficient, effective and dynamic supply chains that improve operational resilience, maximize warfighter capabilities and ensure mission readiness for our armed forces around the world,” said Frye. “Building strong partnerships with our government customers will better enable us to transform and continuously improve supply chain capabilities leveraging the latest technologies – contributing to our military’s ability to protect and defend our nation.”
ASRC Federal became a leading provider of secure, technology-enabled supply chain management and logistics solutions for the Defense Logistics Agency with its acquisition of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC)’s logistics and supply chain management business in May 2023.
