STRIDE Program Overview

ASRC Federal’s Summer Technology Readiness Intern Development Experience (STRIDE) offers undergraduate college students the chance to apply their technological interests and knowledge to exciting real-world missions.

Interns will work closely with dedicated mentors and managers, fostering meaningful connections within our company while exploring a range of technology disciplines. Additionally, interns will have the opportunity to contribute to research projects developed by our tech experts. While extensive work experience is not required, a commitment to learning and a genuine passion for emerging technological advancements are essential.

STRIDE Qualifications

Program Dates: 10-week summer internship, June 2 – August 8, 2025

Location: In-person, virtual, or hybrid internships can be accommodated.

Hours/Salary: 32 hours per week / $23 per hour

Program Requirements:  

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other similar concentration.
  • Must be junior or senior in college, or postgraduate at the time of application.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a government background investigation.

Our software internships encompass a broad array of experiences. You’ll support conservation initiatives, develop solutions for government Chief Financial Officers, and maintain mission-critical systems for the U.S. Navy, Air Force, NASA, and beyond. As a software intern, you’ll work alongside our experts, gaining hands-on experience with technologies such as Java, C++, and Python.

IT
Our IT internships provide a diverse range of opportunities, including Cloud Architecture, cutting-edge Cybersecurity initiatives such as Zero Trust, Network Engineering, and Comprehensive IT hardware and software support. As an intern, you’ll collaborate with teams supporting prestigious customers like the U.S. Air Force, Army and NASA. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to work with ASRC Federal’s internal IT team, gaining invaluable experience across various facets of the IT landscape.

ASRC Federal was founded in the aerospace engineering industry, which remains a core part of our DNA. Our Engineering interns gain hands-on experience in mechanical, prototype, electrical, and hardware engineering. While much of our work is in the space industry, interns also have opportunities to collaborate with the U.S. Army and Air Force.
