Bringing Data to Life for NASA Ames Research Center

Providing NASA scientists with better visualization and insights into data they’ve never been able to access before–helping solve decades-long space and physics challenges.

Modular HPC data center takes 91 percent less electricity and 94 percent less water for cooling, saving costs for the Center.

Built a high-performance computing (HPC) based data center that processes dozens of petabytes of data.

Built a visualization wall of monitors (15 feet high by 40 feet long) that brings data from researchers around the world to life in near-real time.

Managing the Software Engineering Center for CECOM

Testing Domain of the Intelligence Support Division of the Electronic Warfare & Sensors Directorate within the Software Engineering Center (SEC) at U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM).

Conduct software release evaluations and government acceptance testing as well as Army Interoperability Certification testing to ensure the utmost performance and integration with other Army software systems.

Ensure systems conform to operational requirements and are fit for use before they are given to the Warfighter.

Participate in the quarterly Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) service pack updates for more than 12 systems supported within CECOM SEC Intelligence Support Division.

Seamless Software Development Support for the DEA

ASRC Federal employs processes, tools, and knowledge to facilitate software development support for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). This includes planning, implementing, and maintaining software applications for the DEA’s Office of Information Systems (SI) Concorde framework, covering about 65 Concorde applications, 5 legacy Oracle apps, and 20 Microsoft Access apps. These applications drive mission and business outcomes for DEA agents and support staff.

Manage the development of applications and major enhancements using the Agile software methodology.

Support ongoing database maintenance for the SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Access, and M204 database.

Support the development of the DEA’s Intranet, DEA TODAY, DEA.gov, and SharePoint Team sites.
